Single Acting Actuator is moved by the air output of the control valve positioner, while the other side is moved by a spring or membrane. The spring return is typically used with ball valves, control valves, and choke valves. To open the valve, we simply need on applying pressure to one side. It is an actuator that moves the valve into the closed or open position by using spring pressure. This is checked under various parameters to ensure its high durability.
